Absolutely loved this book. Flew threw it. Great job with character development, especially Dan. I found myself rooting for him. Loved the author’s hints of medical references and he managed to beautifully tie everything to wine. Great vacation/long weekend book.

There was such vivid detail. I felt like I was right there next to Det. Winters. Acton Manning did a wonderful job engaging all senses with his words. I will always prefer a book to a movie, but I could *see* this story. Rarely have I not discovered who the antagonist is early on but this was one that I was kept guessing until the end.
The appreciation of wine is very evident and unlocks a desire to learn more about it.
Can’t wait for the next one!
